Terms of Service ✦

• Payment is due immediately upon completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
• We do not leave the property without payment.
• Accepted payment methods will be discussed before your appointment.
• Unpaid invoices may be sent to collections.
• Busy Moms Cleaning Co. may pursue all lawful legal remedies to recover unpaid balances, including civil court where permitted.
• The client may be responsible for allowable collection costs, court costs, and other recoverable fees permitted by law.
• Suspected fraud or intentional non-payment may be reported to the appropriate authorities when appropriate.

• All services quoted at $200 or more require a non-refundable 50% deposit before the appointment is confirmed.
• The deposit is applied toward the final balance of your service.

This policy applies to one-time appointments and first-time cleanings. Recurring clients should refer to the Recurring Client Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy below.

• More than 48 hours before your appointment: no cancellation fee beyond any applicable deposit.
• Within 48 hours of your appointment: 50% of the quoted service price.
• Within 24 hours or same-day: 100% of the quoted service price.
• If we arrive and are unable to perform the scheduled service, a trip fee may apply.

Clients must prepare the property before our arrival. To provide the highest quality service, all areas being cleaned should be picked up before we arrive. We do not provide junk removal, trash hauling, packing, unpacking, or excessive organizing. Move-out cleans require the property to be substantially empty unless otherwise agreed. If the property is not prepared, we may increase pricing, clean only accessible areas, reschedule, or refuse service.

Examples include:

• Clothing picked up off the floor
• Toys put away
• Personal belongings organized
• Dishes placed in the sink or dishwasher
• Counters cleared of excessive clutter

If we must declutter before cleaning can begin, a $25 per room clutter fee will be added. This includes children’s rooms with excessive toys, clothing, or clutter. Any additional charges will always be discussed and approved before work begins.

To ensure the best possible results, we ask that family members and guests avoid using or entering rooms that have already been cleaned whenever possible.

Once a room has been completed, it is considered finished. If a cleaned area becomes dirty again while we are still on site due to foot traffic, children, pets, cooking, or other household activity, it will not be cleaned a second time as part of the scheduled service.

If you request that a completed room be cleaned again, additional charges may apply based on the time required.

Please wait until your cleaning appointment has been completed before using cleaned bathrooms, kitchens, and other finished areas whenever possible.

For the safety of our staff, all aggressive or potentially aggressive pets must be secured before and during your cleaning appointment.

If a pet displays aggressive behavior, prevents us from safely completing our work, or poses a safety risk at any time, Busy Moms Cleaning Co. reserves the right to stop or refuse service. Any unfinished areas may require rescheduling, and additional fees may apply.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. is not responsible for pets that escape due to faulty doors, gates, screens, fences, or enclosures. Please notify us of any special instructions regarding your pets before your appointment.

For the safety of our staff:

• We do not clean or handle human or animal feces.
• We do not clean litter boxes.
• We do not handle soiled undergarments or bodily fluids.
• Areas containing biohazards will be skipped until properly cleaned by the homeowner.

If we are unable to safely complete your scheduled service due to aggressive pets, excessive clutter, biohazards, active pest infestations, or other unsafe conditions, the appointment may be ended immediately and a service or trip fee may still apply.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. does not provide cleaning services in homes with active infestations of bed bugs, roaches, fleas, rodents, termites, or other insects or pests.

If an active infestation is discovered before or during your appointment, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service immediately. Any unfinished areas may require rescheduling after the infestation has been professionally treated.

If an infestation is not disclosed before our arrival, a trip fee or cancellation fee may apply.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. does not provide the following services under any circumstances:

• Biohazard cleanup
• Crime scene cleanup
• Mold remediation
• Pest control
• Hoarding cleanup
• Active infestation cleaning
• Human or animal waste cleanup (outside normal toilet cleaning)
• Junk hauling
• Trash removal
• Construction debris removal
• Packing or unpacking services

Unless specifically added to your service, the following are not included:

• Interior oven cleaning
• Interior refrigerator cleaning
• Bed making
• Interior windows
• Excessive pet hair removal
• Wall washing
• Heavy lifting or moving large furniture

Additional services are available for an additional charge.

To ensure the best possible cleaning experience, clients are responsible for the following:

• Provide accurate information when requesting an estimate.
• Disclose any conditions that may affect service, including pets, clutter, or property condition.
• Secure valuables before our arrival.
• Ensure safe access to the property.
• Provide working water and electricity at the property.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

• Conditions are unsafe or hazardous, including infestations, biohazards, hoarding, aggressive animals, or illegal activity.
• Aggressive pets are not secured.
• Biohazards are present.
• Active insect or pest infestations are present.
• Utilities are disconnected.
• Excessive clutter prevents cleaning.
• The environment poses a safety risk to our staff.

If unsafe or hazardous conditions are not disclosed before our arrival, cancellation fees may apply. If work has already begun, the full quoted amount may be charged.

We treat every home and its belongings with the utmost care and respect. In the rare event that accidental damage occurs, it must be reported before our team leaves the property so it can be documented and addressed promptly.

Please notify us before your appointment of any fragile, valuable, sentimental, or easily breakable items that require special care or should not be cleaned or moved. While we take every precaution, Busy Moms Cleaning Co. cannot be held responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed or that are unstable, improperly secured, or in poor condition.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or improperly secured items.

All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of the cleaning appointment.

Existing damage should also be disclosed prior to service.

Busy Moms Cleaning Co. is not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, defective or deteriorated materials, loose fixtures, unstable furniture, improperly secured décor, or items that are not properly installed.

This includes, but is not limited to, wall-mounted shelves, mirrors, artwork, televisions, curtain rods, towel bars, blinds, light fixtures, cabinet hardware, decorative items, and other mounted or hanging fixtures that may become loose or fall due to improper installation or existing structural issues rather than the cleaning process.

By scheduling service, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure all fixtures, furniture, décor, and mounted items are secure before your cleaning appointment.

Your satisfaction is important to us. If there is an area you feel was missed, please notify us within 24 hours of your cleaning appointment. We will gladly address any legitimate concerns.

We strive to arrive on time for every appointment. Occasionally, traffic, weather, or delays at a previous job may affect our arrival time. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible.

All estimates are starting estimates based solely on the information provided by the client. If important details were omitted, photos were not provided, rooms were not disclosed, or the property’s condition is worse than represented, Busy Moms Cleaning Co. reserves the right to adjust the price before or during service.

Final pricing may increase if the condition, size, or requested services differ from the original estimate. Any additional charges will always be discussed and approved before work begins.

Continuing with the service constitutes acceptance of the updated price.

When you reserve a recurring cleaning appointment with Busy Moms Cleaning Co., that time is specifically held for your home. Recurring appointments are scheduled in advance, and we depend on those reserved appointments when planning our weekly schedule and income. We completely understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. We simply ask that clients respect the time that has been reserved for them.

Our goal is never to charge cancellation fees. This policy simply allows us to protect the time reserved for each client, provide dependable scheduling for everyone, and maintain consistent income for our cleaning team. Thank you for respecting our time and supporting our small business. ♡
